Men United Standing In Christ (M.U.S.I.C) are disciples that become passionate followers of Jesus Christ, and committed to love and service in every area of life. In addition, M.U.S.I.C Men's Ministry exists to introduce men to Jesus Christ, develop godly character through a deeper relationship with God and equip them to serve as the Holy Spirit leads.

We affirm that the Scriptures declare reconciliation must precede worship (Matthew 5:23-24); and that where brothers live in unity, there the Lord bestows His blessing, even life for evermore (Psalm 133:1,3). Jesus said that all people will know we are his disciples if we love one another (John 13:35). By promoting brotherly love, we will therefore seek to become a visible demonstration of what is happening in the kingdom of heaven.

We affirm that in the Scriptures Jesus prayed for His followers to become one, just as He and the Father are one. “May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me…” (John 17:22-23). There is one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Ephesians 4:4-6). Therefore, we will seek to become one in fellowship and purpose, while remaining many parts in practice (1 Corinthians 12).

We affirm that the Scriptures command us to make disciples of all people by reaching them with a credible offer of the gospel, exhorting them to pursue a love for and knowledge of God, teaching them to obey everything Christ commanded, and equipping them for spiritual service in the home, church, workplace, and community (Matthew 28:19-20). Therefore, we will seek to do together what none of us could do alone to reach the men in our reach. We will each endeavor to develop and coordinate our plans and strategies in the same direction so that what we do together will be greater than what any of us could do alone.

  1. To create an atmosphere for the men where they can mature in their relationship with God, encourage and support each other, and develop intentional discipleship in their personal life, family life, and the life of the church
  2. To provide opportunities through programs and events where the men can reach out to other men in the community and provide opportunity to enjoy the fellowship of Christian men in a non-threatening way that promotes brotherly love and unity
  3. Helping and providing men with the resources necessary for active, engaging and effective evangelism to the lost
  4. To bring men into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  5. Helping men reinforce their commitment to Christ, church and family
  6. Motivating men to practice their ministry at home, at work, and in the community
  7. To unite men in Bible study, prayer, ministry, fellowship, and accountability
  8. Designing service programs and projects that will fully utilize men's gifts
